The Food Network always inspires me to run to the kitchen. I have a notebook full of Food Network Magazine tearouts (If you don't subscribe stop what you're doing and do it now!) and lots of notes I make while watching my favorite cooks. This inspiration came out of the September issue.
Thank you Aaron McCargo Jr. for sharing with me your secret weapon, homemade taco seasoning. Of course it's easy to buy the taco packets at the grocery but this is so worth the extra few seconds. I made grilled chicken taco pizzas with this seasoning for my sister's family regardless of her pickiness they loved them! I will mix up extra taco seasoning and put it in the spice cabinet for later use. And remember just because it's called Taco Seasoning doesn't mean you only have to use it when creating tacos. I've used it on baked chicken and it was equally as delicious!
